Watford - Garden Transformation and Garden Room
This project really showcases the work of both Everbuild Developments and our sister company Everblades.
Our clients wanted to find one company to provide them with a modern landscaped garden along with a 20 square metre garden room which was to be used as a social space for the family.
When instructing Everbuild you get just that, experienced builders who can create bespoke high-quality builds along with a team of professional landscapers who can take on all types of hard landscaping.
The garden was a blank canvas with a failing lawn, rotten fences, unsafe decking and no real space in which to socialise.
Our client instructed the services of a garden designer who put the plans in place and passed them to us to make the dream into a reality.
We cleared the garden back to soil throughout and started work on a complete transformation.
We installed a reinforced concrete base for the garden room and installed curved composite decking in front of the house and in front of the garden room. Composite decking is a great product as it is maintenance free, no more staining and treating every 18 months as is required with timber decking.
Linking the two areas of composite decking was a curved path created with borders of modern grey engineering bricks with pavers through the middle to break up the industrial look, this worked very well and tied together each end of the garden.
We also built a raised planter with integrated floating bench, this was rendered to provide a clean modern look.
The fences were replaced and painted black, again a very modern colour for a garden, it helps the fences fade into the background rather than making a feature of them. One fence we did make a feature of was the ultra modern horizontal batten fence close to the garden room.
Our client also wanted our assistance in kitting out the inside of the room with fixing a very large TV to the wall, shelving and installation of kitchen furniture and fridge. We were happy to assist with all of the above as we offer a one stop shop turn key build, once we complete our work our clients are able to use the room the moment we finish.
