Watford - chill out room and gym
We designed and built a 7m x 4m structure. Two thirds of the space was allocated to the teenagers as a chill out room in which they could play the Xbox to their heart's content and the whole family could sit together to watch their favourite team, Liverpool FC, in action.
The other third was a workout space and garden gym.
This structure was built from a timber frame and installed on a reinforced concrete base.
Once the frame was in place the building was insulated throughout, with the floors, walls and roof designed specifically to ensure the garden room remained warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
We offer a turn key build with all our garden rooms, so installing everything you need so you can to start using the new space as soon as we complete our work.
So, this includes all electrics, flooring, decorating, skirtings and internet.
In this Watford garden room, we also assisted in kitting it out by installing all the latest technology the client provided: smart TV, high-speed internet, surround sound speakers.
The flooring installed in the gym area was thick rubber tiles to allow weight lifting to take place safely in the space and aid minimal impact on knees and joints when exercising.
In addition, our customers needed space to store their bikes and sports equipment so we built a further structure to the rear of the garden room to house these items.
We installed lighting and fitted shelves.
